meet the team

anna guhin.

david and I walked into our first baptiste power yoga class in 2004, and despite my insistence that yoga wasn't really for me, that first practice created a shift. i loved the strong, dynamic postures and the focus on moving the body powerfully with the breath. i'd always enjoyed really vigorous workouts and martial arts and was one of those people who thought yoga was too "boring" and "easy" - but this style of yoga gave me exactly what i was looking for. power yoga challenges me mentally and physically every time i get on my mat...it also leaves me feeling calmer and more comfortable in my own skin.

my intention is to teach (and live) with purpose, enthusiasm and compassion. i am honored to be a certified baptiste power vinyasa yoga teacher, and my ongoing training with the baptiste community continually inspires me to grow, shine and share!
