karma projects

at three dog yoga, we’ve chosen to "be the change we want to see in the world." causes we support fall into three categories: health and wellness, human rights and animal welfare.

we hold monthly "karma projects", which allow our members to get involved in our charitable giving activities...if your nonprofit would like to work with us on a karma initiative, please email us at info@threedogyoga.com

february 2010 - kindness everyday

in February, we challenged YOU to commit random acts of kindness throughout the month!

this could be as simple as helping someone with groceries, giving someone an unexpected smile or letting yourself off the hook for that slice of cake or missed workout......or you could step it up and spend a day at the food bank, give blood, volunteer at a local school or donate money to needy causes.

august-november 2009 - the three B’s and the three R’s

our “Bend, Breathe and Be” program is a free program offered to local elementary schools for children in the primary grades, which teaches coordination, focus and relaxation. our teachers visit local schools for two hours each week, bringing a fun and games approach to fitness and yoga.

through our "Relax, Renew and Recharge" program, our instructors travel to local schools and conduct basic classes for groups of eight or more at reduced rates to make classes more accessible to teachers and staff.

last year, we worked with Mark West Elementary School and had a BLAST!
