community outreach

at three dog yoga, we’ve chosen to take a stand for causes we support....and we hope that you will join us in creating change right here in our community. here's what we're up to now!

kindness everyday - our february karma challenge

we are challenging YOU to commit random acts of kindness throughout the month of february!

they could be as simple as helping someone with groceries, giving someone an unexpected smile or letting yourself off the hook for that slice of cake or missed workout......or you could step it up and spend a day at the food bank, give blood, volunteer at a local school or donate to the Haiti earthquake victims.

the idea is to become aware of your power to make a difference in the world...in big and small ways!

so...write your Random Acts of Kindness down, and drop them in the basket at front desk, and we will post them on the community board to help keep us all inspired...now get out there and SHINE!

twelve days of yoga - our holiday karma challenge to benefit the YWCA Safe House/Preschool

in 2009, we donated over $500 and 300 items to the YWCA! we can't wait to do it again in 2010!

here's how the program works: get yourself to 12 classes during the month of december -- instant karma for body and mind.
bring a “wish list” item for the YWCA’s Safe House/Preschool to each class -- instant karma for the soul.

the items are small, but together they will have big impact for women and children fleeing domestic violence. for every member who completes the challenge, we’ll donate $10 to the YWCA’s ongoing efforts.

participation is free; sign up and pick up a copy of the wish list at the studio.

the three B’s and the three R’s

three dog yoga’s own programs to empower our local schools' staff and students.

our “Bend, Breathe and Be” program is a free program offered to local elementary schools for children in the primary grades. that teaches coordination, focus and relaxation. our teachers visit local schools for two hours each week, bringing a fun and games approach to fitness and yoga.

through our "Relax, Renew and Recharge" program, our instructors travel to local schools and conduct basic classes for groups of eight or more at reduced rates to make classes more accessible to teachers and staff. For more information, contact info@threedogyoga.com
